Terms
Use the site and the free samples freely for evaluation. Paid work is always covered by a separate written agreement.

The website
You may read, link to and quote this site. Its content describes our work as of the date stated; measurements and plans can change, and the Difficulty page says what has and hasn’t been measured.
Free samples and trace packs
- Use. You may run, inspect and modify the sample within your organization to evaluate our tasks and your own models or agents.
- Don’t redistribute. Please don’t publish or share the sample’s tasks, answers or reference solutions outside your organization, or use them as training data, without asking us first.
- Results are yours. Results you produce with the sample belong to you. Telling us about them is optional.
- Ownership. We keep all rights in the tasks, generators, graders and other materials, except where a file says it is under an open-source license.
Paid work
Custom samples, pilots and other paid work are governed by a written agreement or statement of work that sets the scope, price, acceptance criteria and ownership. If it conflicts with these terms, the written agreement wins.
No warranty
The site and free samples are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We test our graders carefully, but we don’t promise any particular pass rate, fitness for a purpose, or that the materials are free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or free samples, and our total liability for free materials is zero dollars.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
